LookDog is a participant in affiliate marketing programmes. This means that when you click certain links on this site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. You never pay more because you arrived through LookDog.
Programmes We Participate In
We currently participate in the AliExpress Affiliate Programme. Buttons such as “Check Price on AliExpress” are affiliate links. We may join additional programmes in future (for example Amazon Associates, Chewy or other pet retailers); this page will be updated when we do.
How This Affects Our Recommendations
- Products are chosen based on our own research into usefulness, reviews, seller reliability and value.
- Earning a commission does not determine whether a product appears on LookDog, nor how positively it is described.
- We write about drawbacks as well as benefits. If a product is only suitable for certain dogs, we say so.
- We do not publish fake reviews, invented ratings, or claims that we have personally tested a product when we have not.
Prices and Availability
All prices, discounts, stock levels and shipping estimates are controlled by the third-party retailer and can change at any time. Any figure shown on LookDog is a snapshot from when the page was written — always check the retailer’s page for the current price before buying.
FTC and Consumer Disclosure
This disclosure is provided in line with the US Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and testimonials, and comparable consumer protection rules elsewhere. Affiliate relationships are also disclosed directly on individual product pages, next to the link itself.
